As a registered social worker, I bring over 11 years of clinical experience providing therapy, assessment, crisis support, and advocacy. Throughout my diverse career, I have had the opportunity to gain specialized experience in supporting individuals as they navigate the impact of trauma, journey through grief, manage physical and mental health symptoms, and cope with complex life stressors.

I am passionate about continuing my learning on an ongoing basis. After completing my Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2015 followed by my Master of Social Work degree in 2016, I have continued to seek out further advanced training in the areas of trauma informed care, grief support, caregiver stress, the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, and interventions to manage self-injurious behaviours and chronic suicidal ideation.

My approach to therapy has also grown from my personal experiences. As someone who spent a long time prioritizing overachieving and seeking perfection academically and professionally, I encountered a period of time in which I was forced to slow down and re-prioritize while I navigated unexpected health issues. As I recovered, my perspectives shifted, and I came to understand the importance of being intentional with my therapy practice to ensure I focus on meaningful, relational intervention as opposed to measuring success through checkmarks and quotas. I started my own practice as a way to ensure I can consistently honour my commitment to that intention.

I view my career as a social worker as an enormous privilege. It is truly awe inspiring to be able to work alongside people as they navigate their paths to wellness, healing, and self-discovery.

When I am not working, you will typically find me spending time with my rescue dog, Mako. I also love working in my garden, practicing yoga, trying new coffee shops, and socializing with my friends and family.
