Therapy is a space for you to be you without any judgement or criticism. You are welcomed and encouraged to come as you are. There are no rules around how much or how little you communicate and share, how you express yourself, the pace we move at, or what you choose to give your attention to. There is no wrong way to engage in therapy.
During our first session, we will get to know each other by exploring any questions we may have for each other. This helps me assess how I can best support you. Within that first session, we will spend time creating a treatment plan together that outlines the goals you are looking to work on in therapy, the proposed treatment interventions that I expect to integrate through sessions, and the ways in which progress will be monitored.
Treatment is tailored to you to meet you where you are at each session. We will review your goals together throughout treatment to adjust as needed. I will am open to feedback and will frequently check in with you to confirm that my approach is working for you.
My approach to therapy is integrative and flexible as I pull from various evidenced-based treatment methodologies to tailor treatment to specific goals.
